The main goal of Compose-Terre is to reintegrate the wild urban vegetation that has developed for more than 30 years on the former industrial land of the ZAC 2 of the Confluence district currently under construction in Lyon, while accompanying the arrival of the first inhabitants on this territory. Thanks to the project, I will raise the inhabitants’ awareness on recycling and composting bio-waste in an urban environment, on soil restructuring and the importance of this wild urban vegetation in the city, while creating social links between the people. The project then takes the form of the Compose-Terre workshop to integrate the inhabitants into the transformation of this neighbourhood by organising workshops on Trans-Plantation of wild urban vegetation, on the collection of building site waste, the assembly of Compose-Terre, and the reintroduction of these plants into the future landscaping and urban development of the ZAC.
