The Labothèque is a parallel space, both virtual and physical, which allows the archiving and
sharing of the *database of the collective Les Convives.
This project is the result of a long methodology of research and analysis about the design
process. This year, I partnered with the collective Les Convives, composed of artists, craftsmen
and designers. After interviews with these creators, the project was born. Labothèque is not
intended to replace their workshops but rather to complement them and to give rhythm to their
creative processes. Creating a space dedicated to the exhibition of research gives it value and
creates a time apart. The main design proposal is based on the principle of a grid. It delimits the
spaces in an ephemeral and porous manner, encouraging the sharing of ideas between creators.
Conceived as a mirror reality, the Lab.app creates the junction between the workshops and the
Labothèque. It is also a new way of managing data by spatialising it virtually.
