Healthy nutrition is a major issue of our time. In France, consumers’ concerns about food are growing as scandals break out. In this context, sustainable self-production is a possible answer.
This is the vocation of the project SHROOM which gives access to the sustainable self-production of a food resource, and support users in integrating this practice into their way of life.
SHROOM offers a growing device to produce mushrooms on wood. Each product, produces 5 kg of fresh mushrooms and is fully biodegradable.
SHROOM is the fruit of a global design approach, and represents a first step to open the way to a cropping system, applicable to other scales and other commodities.
