Justine Saez – Graphic Design / Diploma Session 2021

Hovering somewhere in between art and design, this project questions the appropriation and longevity of an object; but it is mostly an intuitive exploration, through art and drawings, of the connection between text and images, narrative content and creative process.

From a whole panel of experimentations through drawings, it moved towards a consideration of the medium used and its role role in the process. It shows sketches of bodies and hands trying to get in touch in the core of objects; from dishes to books, they link all these individuals together, creating a collection.

It is a work of almost obsessional drawings and their perception and personal interpretation. Expressing the reflexion of about the – always required – function of a creator’s work, I chose to take the path of an explorative methodology, letting the freedom influence the result.
