Dilara YILMAZ Diploma project space design 2020

How can we provide a spatial response to the new environmental challenges facing the luxury industries?

Our society is concerned about its environmental impact, for today and for future generations. It was therefore important to create a space that will showcase the new positioning of the luxury sector.
The role of the pavilion is to showcase the new way of innovating through textiles. It presents in a forward-looking way the awareness of the luxury industry with regard to environmental issues.
The project has been thought out through the prism of the user’s experience by discovering new innovative textiles from their leather shops. It is thus intended to be immersive and punctuated by the in-situ journey.
Inside, the different modules presenting the different ranges of textiles such as vegetable leather, recycled leather from a circular economy, are displayed. The space is made up of wood cladding and wooden frames with FSC and PEFC labels.
