As part of my Macro Project, I worked on the Avura Concept, an industrial design project entirely centered on an eco-responsible running shoe.
We have arrived at a crossroads in our choices to safeguard what can still be of our planet. We have the choice between continuing to act as we have been doing for several decades or deciding to change our habits and practices.
Why not change our consumption mode where planned obsolescence also affects running?
Is it reasonable to buy a pair of Running shoes for more than 120€ to cover 500kms?
The AVURA concept was born from a simple but important question: What happens to the fine plastic particles that are produced from the wear of our running soles?
