In order to carry out the Imago project, I partnered with the Léon-Bérard Center in Lyon, through an on-the-field design approach, aiming at inviting patients in the cancer ward to gain some autonomy in their disease and to become active thanks to a different and interactive medicinal education.
The project consists in an adventure game thanks to which the patients can acquire some knowledge and skills for the understanding and management of their sickness. The objective is to create an evolving and poetic environment in which each patient becomes aware of their progress in the treatment process and in which patients can keep the interaction with the medical staff. The path towards recovery becomes an ascent strewn with hardship during which patients must regain confidence in order to get a new lease of life.
