Air has become a toxic element for our bodies. In the « airpocalypse » situation, humans must rethink their daily routines, especially what concerns clothes. They cannot wear anything without worrying about the harmful environment. They must use a filter mask that creates a protective boundary between their bodies and the environment. The systematic use of this mask is at the origin of an evolution of our daily wardrobes. Garments are no longer simple outfits. They become a protection that merges with the mask. Indeed this creates a new costume or armor near to body and skin. This proximity makes this protection an extension of the body, a new filter skin, or a boundary between body and space.
